Who we are

HeyBrainey is owned and run by Profectify LLC, 256 Chapman Road STE 105-4, Newark, Delaware 19702, United States ("we"). You can write to us at [email protected]. These terms apply when you use HeyBrainey, and you accept them when you create an account.

Your account

Give your real name and an email address you can reach. Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account, and for what you let connected AIs and agents do there.

Your memories

What you save is yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, search and show it to you and to the AIs you connect. We never use it to train AI models.

Check what matters. An AI can save something wrongly, and a memory is only as accurate as what went into it.

Public brains

When you publish a collection, anyone with the link can read it and clone it into their own brain, and you allow that. Only publish what you have the right to share, and nothing that exposes someone else's private information. Unpublishing removes the page, but not the clones others have already made.

Anyone can report a public brain. We can take one down if it breaks these terms or the law.

Acceptable use

Don't use HeyBrainey for anything unlawful, for spam or malware, to impersonate others, to infringe someone's rights, or to attack or overload the service. We may suspend an account or a public brain that does, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Plans and payment

Free costs nothing. Pro is paid in advance for a month or a year, and the price is shown on the pricing page before you buy. Stripe handles the payment, and we never see your card details. Pro renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and it then runs to the end of the period you paid for.

If you are a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase by writing to us. Since you ask for access to Pro at once, you then pay only for the days you had it, and we refund the rest.

Bonus memories from invitations are limited as described on the pricing page and may be removed if they were earned by abuse.

When something goes wrong

We work hard to keep HeyBrainey running and to keep backups, but we can't promise it is free of errors or interruptions. Export what is important to you from time to time. Connections depend on other companies' AIs, which may change or stop supporting them.

We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit. This does not limit any rights you have by law as a consumer.

Leaving

You can export your memories and delete your account at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes and law

We may change these terms. If a change matters, we tell you before it applies. Danish law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer rights where you live.
