HeyBrainey

Your AI remembers the conversation. HeyBrainey remembers what matters, across every AI.

Your memory. Every AI.

Say "save this to my brain" in one AI. Ask for it in another, tomorrow or next year. It is yours, and it stays with you when you change assistant.

Works with Claude, ChatGPT and other AIs that support MCP connectors.

ChatGPT Today, 16:42

We're going with annual billing for the launch. Save this to my brain.

Saved to HeyBrainey as Launch billing.

Claude Tomorrow, 09:10

Check my brain. What did we decide about launch billing?

You chose annual billing. You saved that yesterday in ChatGPT.

How it works

Three steps, then it is just talking

  1. Connect your AI

Add HeyBrainey to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI as a connector. You do this once for each AI, and you approve exactly what it may do.

  2. Save what matters

When something is worth keeping, say so: "save this to my brain". Your AI writes a clean memory, tagged and searchable.

  3. Recall it anywhere

In any connected AI, ask for it. It searches your brain and answers from what you saved, wherever you saved it.

What you can save

The things you are tired of repeating

A memory is short text you want back later. Keep it in one brain, sorted by project, and every connected AI can find it.

Decisions
We chose annual billing for the launch, because monthly churn was the main risk.
Preferences
Keep answers short. Conclusion first. British spelling in client emails.
Project knowledge
The app deploys from the release branch. Staging resets every Sunday night.
Ideas
A referral card in the welcome email, tested on the next hundred sign-ups.
Notes
Maria at the supplier prefers phone calls and is away in July.
Prompts that work

Why not your AI's built-in memory?

A memory you own, not a feature of one chat app

Built-in memory lives inside one product, on that product's terms. HeyBrainey sits outside them all and answers to you.

You own it

It is your brain. You can read, edit and sort every memory on the web.

Export anytime

Take everything with you as Markdown or JSON, on any plan.

See who read what

The access log shows which AI read or saved which memory, and when.

Limits per connection

Make one AI read-only, or give it a single project and nothing else.

Private means private

Mark a memory Private and no AI, agent or token can see it. Only you can, on the web.

Real deletion

Delete a memory and it is gone from your brain at once. Backups age out within 14 days.

No training

Your memories are never used to train AI models, by us or for anyone else.

Change AI freely

Move from one assistant to another and your memory comes along. Nothing starts from zero.

Shared brains

Share what you know, one link at a time

Publish a chosen set of memories as a public brain: a style guide, a reading list, a way of working. Anyone can read it and clone it into their own brain, where their AI can use it straight away.

You choose every memory. Links can't be guessed, search engines stay out unless you say otherwise, and on Pro you can run a team space with up to 5 members.

Questions

Plain answers

Does it save my conversations automatically?

No. Your AI saves when you ask it to. That is how MCP works, and it means your brain holds what you chose rather than everything you ever typed.

Which AIs work with it?

Any AI that can add a remote MCP connector. That includes Claude and ChatGPT, on plans that offer connectors, and tools like the DePaza CLI. Availability varies by plan, and the guides show the steps for each.

Does HeyBrainey use AI on my memories?

HeyBrainey runs no generative AI. Your own assistant does the thinking. The one model we run is a small search model on our own servers, which helps find memories by meaning.

Can my AI see everything in my brain?

Only what you allow. Each connection can be read-only or limited to one brain or project, and memories marked Private are hidden from every AI.

What happens if I leave?

Export everything as Markdown or JSON, then delete your account. Your memories go at once, and backups age out within 14 days.

Can I bring my Apple Notes?

Yes, all of them. A small helper on your Mac imports every folder, with images, and keeps bringing in new and changed notes. Your AIs can read them at once, so lock any note you want to keep to yourself. Notes locked with a password in Apple Notes stay there.

Is it free?

Yes, for up to 10,000 memories with full MCP. Free includes 1 GB. Pro is €5 a month or €50 a year for 100,000 memories and 10 GB. Team is €15 a month or €150 a year for 500,000 memories and 50 GB. Inviting a friend gives you both 250 more.
