Connect DePaza to HeyBrainey

The DePaza CLI talks to remote MCP servers directly, so your coding sessions can read and write the same brain as your chat assistants.

Before you start. You need a recent DePaza CLI with remote MCP support. Availability of features varies by plan.

Steps

  1. Run the two commands below in your terminal.
  2. Your browser opens. Sign in to HeyBrainey and approve.
  3. Start a DePaza session. The HeyBrainey tools are now there.
depaza mcp add heybrainey https://heybrainey.com/mcp
depaza mcp auth heybrainey

Good to know

  • Use a read-only connection under Connections in the app if a coding session should never write to your brain.
  • Your AI saves when you ask it to. It does not capture anything by itself.
