What counts as a memory?
One saved item, up to 64 KB of text. A note imported from Apple Notes can be up to 1 MB. Revision history uses storage but does not count as additional memories.
What counts towards storage?
Your saved titles, memory text, source excerpts, revision history, and images in notes. Internal search indexes, access logs, and backups do not count. 1 GB is one billion bytes. Images in notes use the same storage allowance.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Nothing is lost. Reading, search, export and deletion keep working. New saves pause when you reach either limit; edits that need more storage pause too. Delete memories to free space, or change your plan. Referrals help with the memory limit only.
How do collaborators work?
Pro includes you and five unique collaborators. Team includes you and ten. People can share several brains or projects and count only once. Pending invitations reserve a place. Memory and storage allowances are shared across the owner's brains.
Can I cancel or downgrade?
Yes. Your paid plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Your memories and existing collaborators keep their access after a downgrade. New saves or invitations stop when they would exceed your new allowance.
Do I need a paid plan with my AI?
Possibly. Connector availability depends on each AI's maker. HeyBrainey includes its full connections on every plan; your AI subscription is separate.
